My Feet Hurt

My Feet Hurt, thats the best way I can describe how my day went yesterday, aside from opening 10+ sets. Not all are listed though, but it was basically me, N Wing, and his wing (R Wing) going around different places in the city. It was very educational and had fun, but we did do an excessive amount of walking, so towards the end I was having to stop often as I'm not used to walking that much. All these sets aside from 1 I did completely alone, but enough of introductions lets just move into the sets.

1)Two set, young like 6's. I noticed that they were standing next to N Wing with their backs to him, while he was talking to some guy on the street, I was leaning on a building looking for a set to open. So I finally said fuck it, and approached them and did Kate Perry, it went pretty descent I was going to move into "how do you know each other" but during the routine they mentioned that they were sisters. I was sort of a lose for words and I think I asked them if they knew of any good bars / clubs.

2)Two set, looking at some shoes or something. I opened with Kate Perry, and it didn't go well at all, I don't even think I finished it, when my N Wing called me helped me bail though cause it was going no where fast.

3)An 8.5 Hispanic or maybe black, not entirely sure, but we all agreed on how hot she was, and got complimented for even approaching afterwards. She was in line to get some food like this grocery store or something, and I opened with my Kate Perry Routine, at first I think she didn't quite understand the questions but I persisted and pushed it through. I'm sure she saw how nervous I was, but tried to be as confident as possible, and tried to make it as natural as I could. I mentioned part of the modified version I was working on, but got shot down with "Thats a bit personal", so I continued on with the older version. Overall it didn't go terribly bad, but didn't go quite well either, I might have even gotten a smile don't remember.

4)Hired Gun holding some books and looking at shelf, this is the 2nd fucking time that I opened a hired gun without intending too because her badge was being covered by all the fucking books. Anyway I ran Kate Perry with the modified version and got the same response as the other one "Thats a bit personal" or something on those lines, then she walked away. Now I don't have a problem doing hired guns, in fact I like them, but I have to watch out for their fake IOI's and normally try to make sure they aren't watching me game others.

5)A Black haired 8 that was 19, applying for a job at the bookstore I we were all in. This one went really well, I should have tried to #close. I ran Kate Perry, and moved into what she was doing there today or something, and found out she was applying for the job, and she something on the lines of "I don't know what to put for: Reason I least want to work here".
Me: "Put down how the pay is crap"
Her: Laughs, "I can't put that"
Me: "Then put the travel time is too far."
Her: Laughs, "But it isn't"
Me: "They don't have to know that"
Her: "Travel time it is" as she types it in, smiling and giving me that look of good idea.
We talked about a few other things like where she lived, and what school she was going to. At the very end she mentioned something about her BF, but I brushed it off and said something else. Also I should point out that I was body rocking for the first time about to leave, but not on purpose I was really trying to leave but not to get out of the interaction it was more of I thought we were done like so many times before. But I actually was thinking of things to say, and she would reinitiate the conversation. Like I said I should have tried to #close but not sure why I didn't maybe it was AA, maybe it was cause she mentioned the BF even though it was meaningless.

6)We finally made it back to the other book store we started off at, and I decided to try the tarot cards routine with a slight twist. The difference was that I told this red head 6.5 that I wanted to prove to my friend (my wing) that I could do just as good of job w/o having any real knowledge about this stuff. She agreed and he stood by to help any questions I had and filled in some blanks for me. Overall it went really well, I did a pretty good job she said, and was surprised and happy about the whole thing. My wing did a full interpretation after I was done and clarified any loose ends, and the girl told us her story and how everything really clicked. It happened to be about her BF that she is wanted to marry but is worried about commitment, and we both agreed it was best to not try an #close her. But after the reading was done we did talk lightly on what brought her there and such. But I had fun, was really nervous at first thought but got into the whole thing.

7)This was on the street right as I got off the train on my way to the ferry, I saw this 3 set of 7's walking ahead of me. One of them "bumped into" one of those orange cone thingy's but it wasn't a cone shape. So I said loud enough for them to here me from behind them, "I saw that it came out of no where and hit you" smiling and kinda laughing in the process. They did the same, so then I came up on the side of them and said "Ya will totally testify for you". They said something about it too, and then I said "so where you guys headed?" Only one girl in the middle seemed to really be talking but they were all interacting, but she said "Brooklyn", and I told them where I was headed. We talked about SI for a bit, she asked how big it was, and I said with great pride and confidence "35 by 7". They said something like "oh wow", from there I think I transitioned to any good bars / clubs question, and they might have mentioned something I don't remember.

8)This was quite funny, I was sitting down waiting for the ferry at the terminal and had like 1/2 wait. For some reason something came over me, I was realizing the fact that I'm becoming a social butterfly, although I still like to be in my cocoon. But at the time I was bored, I wanted to talk to someone where as 2 months ago all I would have wanted were some headphones to listen to the music on my phone. So I looked around for a while and no one, finally this blonde 5.5 sits on the wall, with a sad look to her, and not crying but kind of sniffling. So I got up and went over and said "Hey, how's it going? Do you mind if I sit?" She said ya or sure or something, and I sat down. I then turned to her and said "You ok?" or something like that, and she just turned to me and said "I don't want to talk to you". I was more sad at the fact that I didn't have anyone to talk to rather than being upset that I just got shot down, cause I really was fucking bored and wanted to talk to someone. So I just sat there next to her for 2 reasons, 1) My seat was taken as soon as I got up, and 2) I didn't give a fuck, I felt no embarrassment or anything.

9)I sat down on the front of the ferry next to this 6.5 brown haired Latin chick with headphone on loud enough to make someone seriously deaf. So after the boat started moving a bit and it got quiet, I taped her on the shoulder and asked her what was the name of the song that I was listening too (yes I could even hear lyrics). She said Neo or something and showed me the ipod shuffle thingy she had, and proceeded to put her headphones back into her ears. So I said something like "Wow, I'm surprised that your not deaf from that." she said something like I'm used to listening to it this loud with a smile and laughing. I was about to ask her if she was heading home, when she put her damn headphones back in. I guess she was done with me, so I sat there waiting, relaxing, taking in the cool breeze, and enjoying the music :) Finally I heard her lower the music for something, or was changing songs and I said "Do you have that song by Kate Perry "I kissed a girl"? No response she definally heard me, but was just ignoring me at that point, oh well, I didn't care really I just wanted to talk to someone.

10)I Finally made my way to the SIR, sat down facing forward, and a 6.0 red head sits down right in front of me (perpendicular to me). So I waited a stop or 2 after the train started moving and opened up with "Can I ask you a question?" she said ya, with a very tired and uninterested look to her. I asked her if she was in business or something cause she was kinda in girl dress clothes you would wear in an office. We actually talked for a long time, like 70% of my total trip about all diff things. Some topics we covered was the job she was doing, and mine (cough:unemployment:cough), what nationality she was, which was Iranian or something. We also talked how long she was living here and that she came from Asia, and we joked around how I really didn't know much about geography and stuff. But I got her laughing and smiling, and it was pretty cool. I didn't feel like a connection of that one would #close with, and also that she was upper 20's and was only really trying to talk for something to do, and pass the time.

So in conclusion I had a very long and tiring, yet fun day, and learned a lot. By the time I got home it was 11ish, as the travel took a while to get home, and forgot that my car wasn't by the train station so I had to walk about another 20 minutes to get home :(
