Tonight my balls grew 3x as big as they were, as I broke in my new shoes and finally went to some bars ALONE. Yes it's true, I surprised even myself but somehow I got enough courage to go do it. Perhaps it was motivation after watching "Jumper" or perhaps I was finally ready, who knows. Ok so lets get into them shall we.
1)The Shithole
It was small and empty, and had older people there, no young crowd at all. I spoke with this guy first asking him if he knew of any good bars around here, or in the city. He could only suggest the village in the city wherever the fuck that it, and said to ask the 3 set that was right by us and whom he was talking to I guess. So I asked the 3 set also all older people like 30's they had no clue and were fucking useless as well, in fact as I was leaving the only girl there said "Hey if you find any good places let us know", ya not going back there ever. Although it's a shame too, it was closest one to my house :(
2)Who calls thing saloons anymore?
Pretty big place, the biggest of the 3 and it had a live band too, very nice and packed. So I go in and open this 2 set by the bar right off the bat. Girl 1 a 7 black curly hair, girl 2 a 6 brown hair in a pony tail. Started off with "Hey, do you know any good clubs around her?" and then later asked about the city, but they mentioned 2 in particular to try (dugout, chicken bones, and any other bar on forest ave). After we were done talking about that I asked how knew each other, and they replied with a laugh "for like ever, since grade school". There were very brief silences here and there, but the 7 kept reinstating the conversation perhaps I got her interest, but I tried to think of more to say. I mentioned that I just moved back from AZ, and we spoke of something else I can't remember now. But if I could have thought of more, such as my Kate Perry Routine I might have started up more of a conversation. As I said I felt that I was getting IOI's from the 7 so I wanted to stay, but I thanked them and moved on to the next bar on the list.
3)Who would talk about this town?
This place was kinda small unless there was more to it, because of how fucking packed it was, definally the busiest of them all. So I go in and there is a girl with a drink standing next to a crowd and I opened her, I thought it was a whole set. He must have been drinking a while cause I smelled it on her breath, but she was a 7 with black curly hair. He mentioned off the bat another bar that was supposed to around the corner from where I was but wasn't about to go check it out I already had enough. She however mentioned 2 clubs in the city (Sol, The Grand), and also for bars to head to forest ave (recurring theme here), and a website to check out with popular up to date bars / clubs. After that she asked me who I was with and when I told her no one it surprised her and she had a big smile, also someone whom I was getting plenty of IOI's from, so I followed up with so who are you here with. She just waved her hand in front of her saying I know lots of people here and there. So at this point I got the impression that I managed to find a single set, pretty, and already giving me IOI's so I did what would any PUA would do? Game her until I took her home. I wish that's what I did but alas I was out of things to say with her as well, and "Had to go", so I thanked her for her help as well and left. She wished me luck on my way out.
Overall I thought I accomplished much, although I should have tried to push myself farther. I did have one other bar on my list to go to but it was forest ave, and it was already getting late, and since I already had plenty of recommendations to go there, I'll just make it a point to head there sometime with a wing.

Mall Approachs
For some reason I had a pretty slow day, started at the bookstore, and got bored after 2 hours and zero approaches, so I moved to the mall. When I got there I think it was about 1/2 hour before I finally got my first one for the day.
1)Girl sitting on bench, an 8 with brown hair and blonde streaks. Opened with Kate Perry and implemented the new minor changes that I made to it, and was a success. But not sure if it was the changes or the fact that she was sitting, it has proven to work better on stationary targets. We'll see more on Saturday when I go out with wing again if the newer changes have any effect. Anyway I moved very smoothly into asking her if she knew of any good bars / clubs to go to on Friday night, she said none on the island, but recommended 3 clubs in the city (Pachaa, Guest House, and Home). I was getting lots of IOI's from this girl, and I know I was definally smiling back with her, I started to transition to something else, but she got a buzz on her phone that she was holding and said she had to get back to work, and taped my leg as she got up. If that wasn't an IOI then I don't know what is, but she got on her phone right away and started to walk away and said "You should definally check out Pachaa tonight". I wanted to ask her where she worked and was leaving in such a rush but didn't get to as she was already on the phone. I continued to walk the direction I was already going (opposite of her direction) and looped back around the other way, thinking maybe I can catch her at work if I could find her. I found her... Leaving with another girl out of the mall. I didn't approach her, only saw her from behind off in the distance. But now I'm totally confused, was she really going to work but not in the mall? Was the IOI's fake?
2)Black hair 5.5 walking from behind me, not that fast at first. I opened with Kate Perry going the same speed as her, but I noticed that she was speeding up for some reason, perhaps to just get away I have no idea. So I ended it after the girl part, didn't even transition, thanked her and slowed my pace down to nothing.
3)Hired Gun Sales Girl, this is one that I haven't wrote about as I have interacted practically on some level ever time I got to the mall, with my wing as well. I would say she's a 7 arab, long brown hair, with a KICK ASS body. Now although this isn't the same sales girl that I stupidly bought that cream from, it is the same booth. So as the guy attempts to stop me, I brush him off and continue walking, but today I had a purpose I was going to try and talk to her w/o her BS sales pitch. When I first got there and we made eye contact, she asked me how I was doing, I said good, and asked her as well; So then I moved on to "why do you like this job so much?". I was going to move into "It must because you get to touch and interact with guys all day", but I didn't say that I totally forgot about that. So I talked about if she got paid on commission, and she does so I joked around saying so thats why your so pushy. It wasn't going as I had planned in my head so I was winging it the best I could, she started talking about products again, and even pointed to the crap one that I did buy. I told her it was BS and didn't work so she was fiddling around looking for another for my face. She started speaking with her co-worker in Hebrew, I responded with "Are you trying to plot against me, and kill me?" or something on those lines, she laughed and said "No, I was asking where a certain cream was". So now she running her game on me full fledge and asks me to take a seat, Now if it wasn't for the fact that I've already been walking around all fucking day I wouldn't have taken it, but my feet where killing me so I sat and played along. Might as well get a free demo as I think of things to say. But I finally got some baring again and remembered some things I was trying to talk to her about to get her off the sales pitch BS. I started with something like "So, how long do you have stay here?"
Her: "All day"
Me: "So, until the mall closes at 9:30?"
Her: "Yes normally but today I have to stay until 10"
Me: "So, don't you ever get to have a break?"
Her: "Ya I get a break at 3:00"
Me: "Where do you go eat?"
Her: "Right here in the food court"
Me: Looking at watch and seeing as it was like about to be 6, I've missed my opportunity for today. "Ok, well we should grab lunch one day"
Her: Something on the lines of sure, but with smiles and stuff, I don't believe any of the IOI's I really get from her, but I took it as a yes.
I started to lose control again as she started on about the product she was putting on me this whole time, and was saying how I only need to do it twice a week. I jumped on this opportunity, "Ok, well thats perfect I'll be coming back on Monday to get some shirts, you can do your bi-weekly demo on me, and then we'll grab some lunch". She started going about how she can't do that, and how I'm being cheap, and to buy her something at Victoria's Secret as a present for her putting the stuff on me. I just brushed that off with something like no, and she went on and on about "What am I cheap?". I was getting no where, and said something like "Ok, well fine since I'll be back Monday I'll just meet up for lunch with you". She responded with "I won't be here Monday it's my day off", I just said perhaps another day then. She was done, and I was done, and we parted. I wanted to at least get her damn name, but when I tried to mention it once during the conversation she brushed it off. At this point anyway I'm just trying to have some fun interacting and shit.

N Wing & Me Day 3
It has been quite the long day, we ventured all the way into the dark depths of New Jersey. Although it was a very nice day out, which helped a lot, as we walked the streets there was almost an endless supply of targets. Ok maybe thats a bit exaggerating, but I did manage to open a lot of sets, more than I can even remember and more so that don't even count due to the lack of response I got from some.
All sets opened by me where with my Kate Perry Routine, while my N Wing did his magic, which I have been told that was fine to let everyone else know what it is that he does. He runs a tarot card routine, by going up to single and 2 sets asking if they think he is psychic, and asks them to be a test subject while he proves my lack of faith wrong. This is all part of his routine and has proven over and over again to work well. There are problems with his just as other routines though, he requires somewhere to actually do his, and can't just stop any target he wishes on the street. So places where seats are an abundance is his playground, such as a nearby park.
But all and all we had a great day and opened lots of sets each. We even did a little game of holding each others $ and as you opened sets you go it back, helps to get over that AA when it starts to cost you your own $, It was very fun as well.
Here are a few that went well that I can actually remember, since I hadn't planned on actually writing I didn't log any.
1)This was actually my very first open for the day and was one of the best. After I opened, we chatted a bit on any nearby bars to visit later that night although we had no intention to actually go to any it was conversation. I also remember asking her where she was headed, since I stopped her while walking past me. I think a 6.5
2)Black girl 6 sitting at bus stop. This was one of the best ones, after the opener I continued to sit and chat with her about bars, and how we were just visiting NJ, my wing said I prolly could have #closed and he was prolly right but wasn't really thinking about it only being practice and just thanked her and left after a while.
3)Got to love Starbucks, I'm starting to really enjoy my Moca Frap even though I have never been one for coffee, I think I'm starting to get addicted to them. Anyway I managed to talk to the Hired gun there a bit, and was actually the only one that I didn't run my Kate Perry Routine on. Part of these was because I was trying to get the balls to try out something I read somewhere on the forums. It goes like this:
HB: Hi, may I take your order?
Cedar: Wow. You're beautiful. I need a small chai. With a side of extra love. And your phone number.
HB: (blank stare)
Cedar: This is the part where you ring me up.
HB: Oh. Uh. $3. And. uh. Here's your receipt. (with her number on it).
Cedar: Awesome. I'll be at that table. Stop by when you're on break.
I was going to modify it by asking for a Tall Moca Frap, Some Extra Love, and your phone #. I know this is corny and most likely won't get a phone # but I have an urge to try this to see what happens. I have balls made of milk apparently because I didn't say this to her, and may never even get to use this. So I opened her up with I can't believe they left you all alone to this, or something like that. So then I told her that I wanted something chocolaty and was going to try and order something totally different, but I realized that this can only work if I actually order something totally diff by starting with something I would never get. Also another tip for hired guns. But she did say that Moca Frap isn't as chocolaty as something else, when I asked about it. So when I said that's what I wanted I got a great response, "You already knew what you wanted before you came up didn't you?" I denied the whole thing. She gave me what I interpitted as lots of IOI's, such as smiling to me, and the way she said "do you want whip cream on it?" and she also gave me extra chocolate syrup (I know I get this often, sometimes they don't even put it). So while she was making it I moved the conversation asking when this particular B&N closed, and then said so is that when you get off? She said yes, and so I moved into something like "So when you get off at 10, where can I go around here to have some fun" She said something on the lines of "Depends how much fun you want to have" (VERY sexual). We continued to talk for another short while before I finally left. I just want to say I'm a complete idiot for not even attempting to #close her, I was kicking my butt all the way as I walked out and back into the street. My wing said that I prolly shouldn't have anyway, but this is coming from a guy who don't believe in gaming hired guns so his opinion there is mute to me. She was very pretty too, like a 7.5
4)Girl was sitting down studying for something medical related, and we chatted for a bit about what she was doing after I ran my routine. At least a 7, Pretty.
After this girl I realized something, my particular routine or perhaps the way I approach seems to go best when the girl is already in a stationary place. A lot of the girls that I stopped or at least tried to stop while walking I found to be VERY difficult.

Kate Perry Routine, Good or Bad?
Ok so after much resistance on my part I decided to go out for a few hours today with my N Wing. I mean I was having a blast already at home reading more of The Mystery Method (VAH), but really thought it was a bit late to be hitting the mall since it closes at 9:30. Anyway we went out, and I continued to open with my Kate Perry Routine, while he worked his magic his own way. To put things lightly I didn't get good responses tonight, most of the girls didn't or couldn't be bothered with me. This could have been do to my initial lack of energy to even be out, or could be the routine. My wing things it's just the routine, but we are planning on going out again tomo and I think I'll have him open a few sets with it and see if it's just me or not. I have a feeling the flaw is the way I may be coming off.
I did have a good 2 set, but they said they had to go. I got past the routine, and went into the "How do you know each other?", but after that they said they had to go before I could follow up with where do you work?
I just remembered, I did a hired gun putting away clothes, and after was done with the routine mentioned something on the lines of "doesn't it piss you off when people mess up these clothes?". She said ya, and I asked her how long she worked there, but ran out of things to say and she continued to fold the clothes during the whole conversation. Which indicated that perhaps I may be bailing too early still. But also proves, at least I think that it may not be the routine itself but perhaps me, the way I transition, or the lack of consistent transition.
Meanwhile my wing managed to do his routine complete on 1 girl, and had to stop in the middle of a 2nd because she had to get back to work, but managed to #close her, congrats. So all and all I will have his try to tomo, and hope all goes well.

N Wing & Me Day 2
So me and my N Wing finally get a chance to go out in the world again. We went a few different places and he opened with his routine, and me with mine. He opened a lot more than me, but not going to go into detail with any of them except the last one where I actually had a part. I really don't remember or care to mention any of the small ones I opened but I do remember this set that I opened.
2 set: Pink Shirt 6, Black Outfit 6.5
I went in with my new Kate Perry Routine and got lots of positive responses from both, they said "Yes" to both parts, and we talked a little about it here and there. I was working with what they were telling me, but don't remember exact details. Then I moved on to "So how do you guys know each other?" and they said "Best friends" or something, and I should have asked how long is that. Wing enters the scene and at a very good point because I couldn't think of anything else to say. Now at this point I should have introduced him to them, but instead just answered his question which was "So what were you guys talking about?" I said something like on the lines of what their opinions were from my routine. Then a weird thing happened, I had nothing else to say and my wing left. I should have transitioned with anything but couldn't think of anything, and with my wing leaving left me confused to boot. So I thanked them for their time and left. I spoke with my wing afterwards and found out that it was a bit miscommunication of he didn't know if he was supposed to stay or if he should say anything. This is something that we still need to work on, and since this is only the 2nd time we are out together it will prolly take many more silly communication errors such as these.
2 set: Brown Hair Glasses 5.5, Long Black Hair 6
This set was actually my wings, and happens to be a routine that others love to watch. So even though I tried to talk to the other one, I had to wait until he was done doing his thing with both of them. After was said and done, I asked the Brown Haired one, which was sitting next to me if she heard of "The Cube". She said no, and I isolated her to go and do it. Note this is the 1st stranger I've had the liberty to actually do it on, but everything went really well, even got my kino on. I was on the money, she loved it in fact wanted me to do it to her friend, I said "Ya sure I guess, but I'm not a dancing monkey like my friend here". When we got back though my wing asked if we were ready to go which was fine cause I didn't really want to do it again. So we left for the night after that. But all and all we did had a fun time, things went pretty well although no number closes.
Update: 5-28-08
I finally realized that with the last girl what I should have done instead of going back to the table. I should have stayed with her and build comfort, I didn't realize it at the time but I was already in C1. I could have sat there and just talked, and most likely moved for a #close before returning to my wing and her friend. Even though she wasn't quite attractive it would have been great practice, and maybe even a friend.

So even though I tried to talk to the other one, I had to wait until he was done doing his thing with both of them. After was said and done, I asked the Brown Haired one, which was sitting next to me if she heard of "The Cube". She said no, and I isolated her to go and do it. Note this is the 1st stranger I've had the liberty to actually do it on, but everything went really well, even got my kino on. I was on the money, she loved it in fact wanted me to do it to her friend, I said "Ya sure I guess, but I'm not a dancing monkey like my friend here". When we got back though my wing asked if we were ready to go which was fine cause I didn't really want to do it again. So we left for the night after that. But all and all we did had a fun time, things went pretty well although no number closes.
Update: 5-28-08
I finally realized that with the last girl what I should have done instead of going back to the table. I should have stayed with her and build comfort, I didn't realize it at the time but I was already in C1. I could have sat there and just talked, and most likely moved for a #close before returning to my wing and her friend. Even though she wasn't quite attractive it would have been great practice, and maybe even a friend.
Barnes & Noble Day 3
Only was there a short amount of time before I left to meet up with my N Wing. But managed to get a couple of girls, and it's hardly worth mentioning.
1)Ok I delayed with this first girl, but got lucky and she sat down at the table just off to my side facing my direction, Black girl 7. One minute goes by... Five minutes go by... 15 Minutes go by... I know that I have to approach and the best way that I could think to do this was to get and come back. So I asked her if she could watch my stuff and that I'll be back in a sec. Besides I had to visit the bathroom anyway and wanted to look around for others as well. So this is how it pretty much went when I came back:
Me: "Thanks for watching my stuff"
Her: "Oh no problem"
Me: "So what are you reading?"
Her: "The Raven"
Me: "Oh by Edgar Allan Poe?"
Her: "Ya"
Me: "So is that for a school project or something?"
Her: "Ya"
Me: Prolly something like oh thats cool, don't remember
At this point I wasn't getting good energy from her, and felt kinda of uncomfortable especially cause even though we were sitting close, it was hard to talk that far, but then again I should have prolly stood over her for a minute to talk, and then sat down at her table to finish talking instead of briefly talking while standing then going back to my seat. I think that had a huge impact on how this went, but nonetheless I just stopped after that. I ended it too early, and fucked up I know.
2)Blonde 6, Looking at some books and had a blue shirt. Now for those of you that don't really know how this routine works unfortunately won't be particularly helpful in understanding, especially since I'm trying to keep it somewhat of a secret since I created it.

At this point the routine is over, then she turns and pretty much walks away, I get out a thank you for her help before she's completely gone.

Hired Gun - Bakery Stocker
Well if anyone remembers back in April I saw and somewhat talked to this pretty chick in the bakery department of a store. I messed it up, and have been trying to approach her for real this time. It seemed though that every time I've been in that store, which hasn't been that often as it's not near me I look for her. Well today I was there, and She was there, but the thing is I'm not 100% sure it was the same girl. Sure she had the same outfit (consisted of hat, and white cooking shirt thingy) and short hair and was pretty, but from what I remember she looked a bit different. Nonetheless this girl although logically speaking I'm sure it was the same girl, was 7.5 brown hair I think, beautiful blue eyes, I mean very captivating, but she seemed like she might have been a bit young. Anyway I passed her, glanced over, I might have said Hi, and continued to walk. I read about this where you go back as you just had a thought and I started my new Kate Perry Routine, which went a bit like this without revealing too many exact details about it.
Me: "You just reminded me a female opinion I wanted to get"
Her: Something like, oh ya what is it?
Me: "Do you know that new song by Kate Perry called I kissed a girl?"
Her: "No"
Me: "Ok, well it's basically about this chick who kisses a girl and hope her BF don't mind" and I continued with my routine, over all it went very well I finished the whole thing, and got a positive response, BUT after it was over, I was fucked. I couldn't think of ANY transition question, so I said
Me:"Well thank you for helping me out".
Her: "No Problem" or something like that.
I did consider running my new Life Line Routine right after but didn't for 2 reasons:
1)Like I mentioned before she looked younger than I remembered, so it wouldn't have gone well.
2)It didn't feel right moving from one routine straight into the next w/o having anything in between.
So I was kicking myself all the way to checkout, and while I was in the car I finally thought of 2 diff questions I could have asked:
1) Do you know any cool bars / clubs to go to around here?
2) So what kind of music do you listen too? (Since she said that she hadn't heard of that song)
But I was thinking why the fuck is it at the time I can't think of these fucking things, and soon as I'm gone they come to me! It makes me sooo mad! Overall I thought it went well though, and now I'm wondering if it's ever possible to talk to her again :( If I could WTF could I say? I feel so AFC right now it makes me soo mad that I fucked up! I've been practicing and waiting until I was ready and I still messed up, now I feel like I'm being forced to move on, because I prolly don't have any more chances with this girl :(

N Wing
This may sound gay the way I say this but it's the truth. I met a guy online :P
I found a Nameless Wing or N Wing as he will be referred to, to help me get out of my house more and to help each other. We met up talked about the community go to know each other, and we did some practice runs in the mall. He had me trying out the cologne routine, which I found to be a pretty good opener, especially since there was 2 of us.
Ok so after a demonstration from him, on what to say and such, I got my 3 samples and went out to test out this new found routine.
1)Macy's Hired Gun, Brown hair 6, I was told after that it was a hired gun, but at I didn't she was only because she had a bunch of clothes in her hands so I thought she was shopping but was putting them away. So I opened with something like "Hey, could you help me out real quick, my friend is getting impatient and I'm trying to pick out a cologne" and tried to hand her the samples, she wasn't so responsive at first but started smelling, and I transitioned with "Do you know any cool bars / clubs to goto tonight".
Her: "No, not here only in like Brooklyn"
N Wing: "Did you just say you don't know of any places to go out?"
Her: "Ya well not here, and I don't really go out" Or some shit like that.
They kinda talked back and forth for a sec, and I thanked her and moved on.
2)Hired Gun for some girl store, Black hair 7, Now this started fine, I opened, and she picked one, and said something like do you know which is which? I said the names of them but wasn't sure, and she pulled in another hired gun for an opinion also and she began smelling and started to recommend. Thankfully my Wing came in to help and talk to them, but I have no clue what about, I think he transitioned to the any cool bars question, but they had no clue.
3)First 2 Set for me: Kim 7.5 black hair, sunglasses and her friend a 6 in a brown shirt. I saw them coming out a store and stopped them. It started off really well, they each took 1/3 samples and started smelling them (I think if I had 2 samples this routine would go better, less to hold and not many to get confused). So they started giving their opinions, and my Wing came in to join in the conversation. I was about to transition with the bar/club question but he beat me to the punch. They started talking and such, but somehow the girl in brown shirt was getting more attention and talking more. So Kim started to back away, I moved in closer to her and tried to thing of something to say. Unfortunately I couldn't think of anything else other than "So what's your name?" I know I messed up here too. But we shook hands and I got a name, I knew I had to talk to her and keep her occupied while my Wing was talking to the girl in brown shirt. I failed :( Kim finally decided to walk into the store we were standing in front of (not the one they just left).
N Wing: "Well it looks like your friend is getting bored and wants to shop".
We just left after that, and thanked them for their help. Oh BTW they actually recommend some bars / clubs, don't have a clue what they were called now, but it was helpful at the time. I think they said something like the tropicana. I should also note that I failed to mention who my target was to my Wing before we entered the set, but then again I didn't really think about it until I opened them. My bad :(
Later that night we finally went out to check out some of my Wings favorite bars around the city, the first one we went to was pretty much dead. It had a few sets, but mostly just a bunch of people at the bar, guy and girl sets. There was this other set by the booth that was a 5 set (2 couples, and girl). I thought it was a good spot to practice if we would could get that girl alone. So when my Wing went to the bathroom one of the couples separated, and it was now a 3 set hurry. We had moved to sit across from them, so I leaned in and said this to them right after they were singing along to the loud music "We got to get your guys a karaoke mike", they laughed a bit and I followed up with "Do you know of any karaoke bars around here?" They mentioned one that was pretty far away. I should mention that it was raining most of the night, and we tried to walk around earlier to find another bar, but we found that quite difficult in the rain with only my Wing having an umbrella, and me w/o a jacket. So instead of acting like a gay couple huddled under 1 umbrella, we waited a while in that bar to see if it picked up. It didn't but we decided to walk about 20 blocks to the next bar, thankfully the rain stopped.
So we get to this next place, it was kinda small, but weird cause it was a restaurant too. So my took a seat next to this 2 set (girls 7, 7.5) and he had me walk around and check out the place. I assumed he was going to work on that set or do something, so I walked around slowly looking for any potential sets, and went up stairs where they had a 2nd bar. So I got my small water with lemon (to look like it's a real drink) and continued to look around. I saw another 2 set, and tried to get close to talk to them, but from where they were sitting at on the bar, it was physically impossible to reach them because another set was blocking the way. So I left to go downstairs. To my surprise my Wing had a girl sitting next to him, I was unsure if I should go to him or if he wanted to be alone and it was part of his plan to begin with. I took a chance and walked to him, he introduced me to this girl and told me to sit. Now at this point I know this is weird and thought maybe he go her for me or just wanted to practice, I had no clue. So I sit down, and he leaves; I couldn't really hear her when she said her name so I asked him again. She said her name was Cindy, BTW this girl was a 4 Asian with black hair. Plus her breathe smelled real bad, and she didn't talk like at all. I asked her a few questions to try and get her talking and she said she was from Paris and just visiting, I tried to ask her a question about Paris, but was like pulling teeth. I was starting to see why my Wing left me with her. So he returns and says to me, did she tell you she was from Rome, I said no she said she was from Paris. I started to get confused like was there a Paris in Rome as well or was this bitch just fucking lying. Well it turns out she was just fucking lying, and she sat down next to him out of no where. He had tried to ask her questions about Rome, and she didn't know anything about Rome either. So all in all it was really weird and creepy, but me and my Wing were thinking I wonder if this is what girls feel like when they are approached by some random ugly guy?
Moving on...
There was another 3 set (2 fat chicks a 5 and 5.5, and a 6.5) They were sitting to on these other couches to the right and north of us. My Wing said that best way for us to approach them since they were sitting was to sit next to them. We noticed that the couch that we were going to go to was occupied but the people there were about to leave. So as soon as they left we got up and was headed to sit down, unfortunately we had no communication prior so I was confused where to sit, and why he was going to go to the bathroom. So I sat with my back to them all awkward waiting for him to come back, but then I thought that perhaps we walked away so that I could open them. I asked them if they knew of any cool bars / clubs to go to besides this one. They didn't really know, so I mentioned something on the lines of "Well you girls seem to go out a lot". I don't remember what or if they said anything after that, but I knew it was time to leave. So my Wing comes back all confused and I tell him we have to go, and that was it for the night.
By the time I finally got home it was 3:30, and overall I thought the day went well, got some experiences and familiarity with that atmosphere and my Wing.

Ferry Thoughts
After the RSD Workshop, I met up with Yummy for a bite to eat, and then we parted our ways, and made my way to the ferry.
By the time I got on the ferry it was like 11 o'clock, I had a long day, but I was still looking for any single sets I could find. I found 1 girl at the terminal before we got in, but I really wasn't in the mood anymore, not quite sure why I was looking in the first place. So I did approach her, and figured I would find her later if I really wanted to. I made my rounds around the ferry, same old, same old, back and forth, up and down. As I'm coming back towards the people that are just coming on, I see that same girl again (6.5 brown hair) but for some reason I get AA, and I pass her, I felt it was a weird situation to stop her as all these people are coming towards me, so I just pass her, and continue my walk around. I actually wind up coming back around that same way to see if I can find her finally sitting down (I waited a few minutes before coming back that way). I see her sitting alone, with a double distraction, Headphones and Reading. I find it bad enough to interrupt someone with 1 of those and I was getting really tired a this point and just wasn't in the mood anymore so I sat down on like the other side of the boat but could still see her from where I was, debating if I wanted to bother to talk to her. I seriously think at this point I wasn't approaching from AA, but from tiredness.
So I'm there sitting, and from the outside walked in this tall blonde 6.5 she looks so tired, but was cute. She sits across and to the left of me with an isle in between us. At this point I'm already listening to my music, and barely staying up, so I considered talking to her, just as something to do. I saw that she was bored as hell too, or perhaps just tired, so I thought of kinda making her night. But all in all I just kinda laid back relaxed and listened to the sweet sound of music, while contemplating if I wanted to get up or not. I didn't and just continued on my way home, and tried to stay awake on the SIR.

Union Square
On my way to the Real Social Dynamics (RSD) Workshop yesterday night, I decided to head into the city early to get more practice in and check out the park at union square and the Barnes and Noble there since it was 4 floors. I left the house at like 11:30 and started on my fucking 2 hour trip to the city. On the way there I had my first 3 approaches, the last of them was in the book store. I looked around the park when I got there, but didn't see any single sets and it was smaller than I imaged. So for all these sets I started with "Hey how's it going?" and then followed up with something. This time around I actually took notes afterwards when I had time, so it's a lot more detailed than I have been writing. So lets get into the sets.
1) Ah the first set of the day, it actually didn't go bad, I know now that I ended it too early and made some other mistakes like talking about her BF. So anyway, she was an 8.5 redhead named Erika. We started off sitting on the opposite sides of the car on the SIR (Staten Island Railroad).
Me: Opened, "Where you going?" She couldn't hear me because we were far apart, so I picked up my backpack and moved to sit right next to her, and repeated myself.
Her: "Meeting up with my BF in Brooklyn"
Me: "Oh thats cool, how long have you guys been together?
Her: "3 yrs"
Me: "So you guys planning on having kids soon?"
Her: With a big smile, "I don't know"
Me: At this point I said something like, I know that the urge is harder when your together longer and longer (It was stupid I know) In my head I was thinking of how to nicely say "Well your biological clock is running out, shouldn't do something". I got off that topic, and asked her if she lived around here, she said ya. I told her where I was from, and like a stop later I decided to bail. It's not the best way but it's kind of my failsafe system "Well this is my stop", and I get off and move to he car behind. She replied with another big smile "Well it was nice meeting you". Somewhere in that converstation we shook hands when we introduced our names and she mentioned that her BF had the same name as mine (Know clue WTF I responded with). I should mention that I should never use that as a bail ever again, because we were pretty much going the same direction for a while. When we got to the ferry I saw her walking ahead of me, and I carefully avoided being seen.
2)This one didn't so well, I walked back and forth, up and down the floors of the ferry boat looking for any single sets. Of coarse I saw Erika during my travels but I know she didn't see me, and I avoided where I knew she was sitting. So I finally saw this one girl sitting alone, and approached, she was in a suit, about a 7 black hair.
Me: Opener, "So Where you going?"
Her: "To work" With a very uninterested expression.
Me: "So what do you do?"
Her: "Real Estate"
Me: "Oh thats cool, isn't the market really bad now?"
Her: "It is, but not for the city"
Me: I felt it was really going no where fast, and she was so not into it, so I started taking out my head phones and PSP to listen to some music. But in the mean time I was trying to think of anything else to say, but nothing came to mind. During that time she took out her phone and called someone. After I got set up, I got up, and said "Nice meeting you", but if she heard me she didn't acknowledge it.
3)This one went really well. After leaving from that last girl I headed downstairs and onto the front of the boat to get some fresh air and enjoy the view. I saw Lauren, a 7 blonde wearing a green tang top shirt outside. Our converstation lasted pretty much that whole ferry ride (at least 20 min), so I don't remember a lot of it, but here is kinda how it went.
Me: Opener, "Aren't you cold?" Now I was a bit chilly and I had a short sleeve shirt on. I figured she was freezing, but she wasn't.
Her: "No, I'm fine"
Me: "So where you headed?"
Her: "South Street Seaport to do some shopping" I think she asked me how about me.
Me: I said where I was going, we talked about how she moved back Florida, I told her about AZ, She's graduating in 2 weeks to become a teacher (WTF is with all the teachers?) Anyway I mentioned and kinda kidded around you must really like kids, she said ya, and I said something like "It's a shame how you don't get a lot as a teacher". By the way I introduced myself a couple of minutes in and got that handshake out of the way, and about halfway through I lightly touched her shoulder saying "You sure your not cold?" Not entirely sure when the BF came up, it was somewhere around the topics of what I'm studying to do (Police Officer) and where she was going after shopping with was meeting up with her BF in Brooklyn (This seems to be a very common answer...) And she works in Brooklyn too. When we got close to the City I somewhat yelled out "Land Ho!" She laughed, and I said "I always wanted to say that" with a big smile, We continued on talking about whatever. When we were passing the Statue of Liberty I asked her if she ever went there, and said "no", I said "We should go there sometime" and we talked about how it's funny how when you live somewhere you don't always visits the sites of that place, and I remember somewhere in there saying that when I was kid, that I counted how many step there was to the top. She asked me if I remember how many, I don't really remember but I responded with "It was something like 1053". Also somewhere in out talking I mentioned my old GF, I don't really know what it was in regards to, but I know that I mentioned it because she mentioned her BF and tried to come off less threating. I know that was bad too.
I tried to #close when we got really close to docking, but I fucked it up. This is sort of how it went.
Me: "Well you seem pretty cool" (There was a .5 second pause to my next line)
Her: something like "O ya?" and she was laughing
Me: "We should hang out some time."
Her: Something on the lines of "I don't know" or "I really can't"
Me: "Why not?" I mentioned something afterwards on the lines of "I don't really have anyone to hang with on SI, where she is living.
Not sure what happened after that, she was smiling the whole time, but we kind of moved on. I know now that I should have just continued with something like "Let me see your phone" and hand your my phone and saying "Lets exchange #'s". But I guess I gave up too easy :( I'm 99% sure I could have #closed her. We shook hands one more time before departing saying "it was nice meeting you".
So I finally made my way to Union Square, got something to eat, and looked around the park not seeing anyone, and went to the 4 story bookstore. I got there around 1:30 and already I was feeling a bit tired, although I had plenty of sleep the night before. Enter the Bookstore (Where the rest of these took place)

Me: Opener, "You look comfortable"
Her: I think it was on the lines of "Ya kinda" She looked borderline happy, but still a bit upset, prolly cause I interrupted her reading.
Me: "So what are you reading?"
Her: "A cookbook"
Me: "Oh thats cool, Have you learned anything interesting?"
Her: Don't remember wtf she said, I think it was "no, not really"
I don't remember much after that, but I know I kinda walked away after that.
5)Another girl sitting down reading, 7 black hair
Me: Opener, "You look comfortable"
Her: I think it was on the lines of "Ya kinda" She looked happy though and was smiling up at me.
Me: "So what are you reading?"
Her: I don't remember is she said anything or just held up the book for me to see, it was called "Thank you for smoking" I've heard of this book, but not sure what it was about, she had just started reading it her self.
Me: "So are you trying to stop smoking or starting?"
Her: Don't remember wtf she said, I think it was "no"
Me: "Have you learned anything interesting?"
Her: "Well I just started it so not yet, but it looks interesting"
Me: No clue where I went from there, I might have said something like, are you from around here? I think she nodded. I sort of walked on the side of her continuing to pretend looking at the books like I was doing as I approached her, and all the girls there for the most part. I may have said "It was nice meeting you", I just couldn't think of anything to say and I started feeling my energy level just depleting from me like someone stuck a hole in my energy level tank.
6)Now I'm not sure if I started slacking my approach, if it was my energy level, or whatever but things really started going downhill from here. Blonde 7
Me: Opener ("Hey, how's it going?")
Her: I might have gotten a hi, she was texting at the time while standing in front of a bookshelf that I saw her looking at.
Me: "So what brings you hear today"
Her: With the some disgusted look on her, face and giving me that look of are you a fucking it? "Uh, Books"
Me: "Well what kind of books?"
Her: "Microsoft / computer books, my computer is broken and I'm trying to fix it"
Me: I wanted to tell her to just go to like the geek squad or something, or perhaps don't try it yourself if you don't know wtf your doing. But I remember from past experiences that I shouldn't say shit like that. So all I could get out was "Thats Cool". There was some dead silence for a bit, and then I said "So you live around here?"
Her: "Ya" and looks at me all weird again.
Me: "I'm from SI", she just flat out walked away after that, not saying a word.
7) I might as well just copy and paste #6 because it was pretty much the same shit. Black hair 7, sitting on floor reading what looked like a CD, but I'm sure it was a book. This was in the New Age Section
Me: Opener
Her: Looks up, there might have been a smile, "Hi"
Me: "So what are you reading?"
Her: No response, just continues to look down reading.
Me: Saying with a smile "I don't bite" (I might have said "Ya know" at the end of that)
Her: Gets up, and walks away.
8)This was yet another 7 with black hair. She was reading some magazine, I came up from her side.
Me: Opener
Her: Turns to look at me, then back to her magazine.
Me: "So what ya reading?"
Her: Shakes here head back and forth while still reading.
Me: "Nothing?"
Her: No response
At this point it was beyond over, So I saw an interesting magazine in front of me, I picked it up, thumbed through, then just left.
So things aren't going well, I'm getting even more tired than I was, I have been taking breaks here and there writing between some of these girls, and reading from my book waiting for the store to refresh itself. So i really think that it must be something that I'm doing or how I'm coming up to there. But I'm not sure.
9)I saw this girl coming up from one of the escalators, I might have already been on that floor, and I saw her stop at some book on a table. Blonde 7.5 with really shiny glasses that covered more than her eyes, She also had headphones on.
Me: Opener
Her: "Hi" With a smile
Me: I'm already thinking that I may finally have an actually conversation with someone, but I shouldn't have asked this question "So what are you reading?" I saw her just pick up the book, and was just looking at it, she wasn't reading it she didn't have time to know wtf it was.
Her: She showed me the book, it was called "Making the cut"
Me: "So what's it about?"
Her: "I don't know"
Me: "Well it looks like some kind of fitness book"
Her: "Ya"
Me: "Well ti don't seem like you need it" I knew after the words left my mouth wtf I did, I gave her an IOI w/o earning it, and it was wrong to say.
Her: "TY, well I'm looking for a friend"
Me: I think there was some kind of dead silence, cause I was trying to think of something else to say... "So what are you listening too?"
Her: "Sublime"
Me: "Oh thats a pretty cool band" I was about to ask what song it was, although I only know a few of them.
Her: Gives me a big smile and says "Have a nice day"
Me: I was confused on exactly wtf happened and where I went wrong, so I just got out Ok... and walked down the escalator.

Subway Car Approach
This is a bit late because I completely forget it even happened. But I was on my way to the Vybe List Meeting on Monday, and when I got on the subway in the city like one stop after I got on 3 7's got on. The one I felt was the most attractive was a blonde, SHE approached me and asked if I knew if this train stopped at whatever street don't even remember. Now I was sitting this whole time, and she was standing right in front of me when she asked and stayed there the whole time. I didn't know the answer to her questions unfortunately, and a man behind her was able to help her. But the whole time I was scared shitless because I knew it was an IOI, and she was still standing there talking to her friends in front of me. But I have zero experience with a 3 set and couldn't think of any opinion opener or anything to say for that matter, so I just tried to look straight ahead of me w/o looking at them.

Barnes & Noble Day 2
Ok I have much more girls to add to my approach, and tried to get more interaction today than I got yesterday, and I believe I reached that. Like yesterday's I approached with the simple "Hey, How's it going?" And followed up with something. So lets get into them shall we.
1)Girl with pink shirt, I approached said my thing, and maybe got a little smirk but nothing else. I might have followed up "What brought you here today?" but honestly I don't remember, besides it was my "1st" approach. I say it like that because technically I went up to a hired gun to talk to them about the membership, but you need to pay for there gay ass cards... WTF is the point of buying a card to save $ if you have to buy the fucking thing???? Anyway moving on.
2)I seriously need to take actually notes from now on other than "Green shirt - Coffee" She obviously had a green shirt on and her response to what brought her there was coffee. Ah now I remember, she just got her coffee and went to the napkins, and I approached. With the normal "Hey, How's it going?" Then moving to what brought here there. But I remember now that she just left in a hurry after she said that.
3)This one was quite the challenge for me personally because of where she was located from where I was sitting. The way I've been doing this is reading for about 50 minutes (studying my book) and then getting up and walking all around the 2 floors looking for any girls to talk to. So from where I sit, I can see when a girl is going up stairs and also if there is one on the lower floor. At this particular time I didn't see anyone and returned to my chair from the back part of the store. When I sat down to my seat I noticed this girl had sat down on the other side of the wall I was sitting on with her back to me. Obviously she came while I was walking around, otherwise I would have just come from the front and approached her. After much help from Yummy, and waiting for most of the people sitting around to disappear I finally got up and walked back from the way I came, and worked my way to the front and approached her with "Hey how's it going?, do you mind if join you?" Pointing to the chair right across from here. I think this went pretty well, we talked back and forth for a bit, but there was a problem. She was working on a paper and kept looking down at the book she was reading and taking notes, and not really looking up at me, this indicated to me that she wasn't that interested. Plus I was running out of things to talk about there were pauses of about 20 seconds here and there. I finally was completely out of things to say that I could think of, that and I was under the impression that she didn't want me to be there anymore. So I just said "Well it was nice meeting you, I have to get back to my studying." and left. I should mention that the only kino I was able to do was when I said my name, and got hers and we shook hands. Kino was kind of hard to do because of the table in between us.
4)This was the best one so far since I've started doing this, it went really well. I opened with "Hey how's it going?" and followed up with "Wow thats a lot of books". She was carrying at least 6 books, 1 of which was "The Red Queen" and I mentioned that I heard that book was great, she said that it was recommended to her and she never really got a chance to read it, and happened to see it now. There wasn't any kino because I'm an idiot because we started upstairs and continued the conversation downstairs where we stopped a few feet from the registers, but we talked for a good 5-7 minutes. It went really well, everything flowed, and she did most of the talking which it seems I do better with because I can listen all day long. But I did get my share of talking in when she asked how about you for this and that. She was from L.A. and thought that to # close would have been pointless but Yummy already yelled at me saying it was the perfect time to. I prolly could have # closed too :(
5)Not sure what is with all these girls and not saying anything but it kinda makes me wonder a few things... Is it just me? Are they just shy? or what? I opened she kinda smiled said nothing, then I asked "What are you reading?" she just looked up, not sure if she even smiled that time, but still said NOTHING! I just said after that ooook with a confused expression, and picked up a random magazine that we were near, flipped through a couple of pages and then just left.
6)I approached, and then after I got the words out of my mouth I realized that she was way to young, she said hi in a very low voice, and I just moved past her looking at some books.
7)This girl was pretty not entirely sure on age thought she might have been too young but seemed to be in a rush. I approached and she responded with Hi, and then kept walking, I didn't even get to ask her anything else, she was gone just like that.
8)I was just getting ready to leave, and was going to make one last walk around, when this girl comes up to order some coffee. I was sitting down still, and while she was waiting for her coffee, she turned and looked around and we made eye contact. I'm pretty sure I smiled cause she smiled, but my AA was kicking into high gear and I couldn't get up. So I waited to see where she was going to go exactly, I figured that she didn't come in here to just get some coffee and leave. I was right, she got her coffee and took a seat near the front of the store. I gave her a few seconds to get settled, and I packed up my book and got up. Perhaps I should have waited longer, or perhaps it was my approach, whatever it was I know it was something I had to do. I came up from the back and headed towards the front where she was sitting and approached from the front of her. I said "Hey how's it going? May I join you?" I figured it worked so well with #3 and this time I thought I had more confidence, but all I got out of her was "Hi, I'm sorry but actually my sister is coming and something...." I think this was possibly a shit test now that I think about it, and should have responded with "That's ok I can only stay a minute anyway.... blah blah" but all I could get out was "Ok, thats cool, well I just wanted to come over and say Hi", she said Hi again, and I left the store. I should have walked the rest of it like I had planned too, but I really just wanted to get home after all that. I had a long day.
I got there at 9:30am, left at 2:30 to go to the SI mall, and returned at 4:30 then left at 7pm. So I had a LONG day, and overall I think I didn't do too bad, I had some really slow hours from 2:30 to like 6:30 though. While I was at the mall I had NO luck whatsoever, I don't know why everyone keeps recommending to go to the mall to meet girls, cause it seems that every time I go there, there aren't any single sets at all! If they are, then there either way to young, or way too old. I felt like it was damn JHS, so many kids were there today. Perhaps it's just the hours that I happen to go there, but I've had zero luck there.
1)Girl with pink shirt, I approached said my thing, and maybe got a little smirk but nothing else. I might have followed up "What brought you here today?" but honestly I don't remember, besides it was my "1st" approach. I say it like that because technically I went up to a hired gun to talk to them about the membership, but you need to pay for there gay ass cards... WTF is the point of buying a card to save $ if you have to buy the fucking thing???? Anyway moving on.
2)I seriously need to take actually notes from now on other than "Green shirt - Coffee" She obviously had a green shirt on and her response to what brought her there was coffee. Ah now I remember, she just got her coffee and went to the napkins, and I approached. With the normal "Hey, How's it going?" Then moving to what brought here there. But I remember now that she just left in a hurry after she said that.
3)This one was quite the challenge for me personally because of where she was located from where I was sitting. The way I've been doing this is reading for about 50 minutes (studying my book) and then getting up and walking all around the 2 floors looking for any girls to talk to. So from where I sit, I can see when a girl is going up stairs and also if there is one on the lower floor. At this particular time I didn't see anyone and returned to my chair from the back part of the store. When I sat down to my seat I noticed this girl had sat down on the other side of the wall I was sitting on with her back to me. Obviously she came while I was walking around, otherwise I would have just come from the front and approached her. After much help from Yummy, and waiting for most of the people sitting around to disappear I finally got up and walked back from the way I came, and worked my way to the front and approached her with "Hey how's it going?, do you mind if join you?" Pointing to the chair right across from here. I think this went pretty well, we talked back and forth for a bit, but there was a problem. She was working on a paper and kept looking down at the book she was reading and taking notes, and not really looking up at me, this indicated to me that she wasn't that interested. Plus I was running out of things to talk about there were pauses of about 20 seconds here and there. I finally was completely out of things to say that I could think of, that and I was under the impression that she didn't want me to be there anymore. So I just said "Well it was nice meeting you, I have to get back to my studying." and left. I should mention that the only kino I was able to do was when I said my name, and got hers and we shook hands. Kino was kind of hard to do because of the table in between us.
4)This was the best one so far since I've started doing this, it went really well. I opened with "Hey how's it going?" and followed up with "Wow thats a lot of books". She was carrying at least 6 books, 1 of which was "The Red Queen" and I mentioned that I heard that book was great, she said that it was recommended to her and she never really got a chance to read it, and happened to see it now. There wasn't any kino because I'm an idiot because we started upstairs and continued the conversation downstairs where we stopped a few feet from the registers, but we talked for a good 5-7 minutes. It went really well, everything flowed, and she did most of the talking which it seems I do better with because I can listen all day long. But I did get my share of talking in when she asked how about you for this and that. She was from L.A. and thought that to # close would have been pointless but Yummy already yelled at me saying it was the perfect time to. I prolly could have # closed too :(
5)Not sure what is with all these girls and not saying anything but it kinda makes me wonder a few things... Is it just me? Are they just shy? or what? I opened she kinda smiled said nothing, then I asked "What are you reading?" she just looked up, not sure if she even smiled that time, but still said NOTHING! I just said after that ooook with a confused expression, and picked up a random magazine that we were near, flipped through a couple of pages and then just left.
6)I approached, and then after I got the words out of my mouth I realized that she was way to young, she said hi in a very low voice, and I just moved past her looking at some books.
7)This girl was pretty not entirely sure on age thought she might have been too young but seemed to be in a rush. I approached and she responded with Hi, and then kept walking, I didn't even get to ask her anything else, she was gone just like that.
8)I was just getting ready to leave, and was going to make one last walk around, when this girl comes up to order some coffee. I was sitting down still, and while she was waiting for her coffee, she turned and looked around and we made eye contact. Barnes & Noble Day 1
I finally took a few hours during a day to make some approaches and study for the CDL I need to get. So I went to my local Barnes & Noble, got myself a Moca Vente, and was ready to go. Most of them only consisted of short "Hey how's it going?" but it's progress none the less.
1)Girl reading magazine, I approached with "Hey how's it going?" Then followed up
with "What are you reading?" She was about a 6.5 kinda cute, it didn't go far cause I didn't push it enough.
2)Hired Gun - "Hey how's it going?" She said "Hi, can I help you?", I said no, just looking, so then she left. :(
3)Girl was near the cook books, and approached, but didn't go far.
4)Where I was sitting when reading up was a good place cause it was near the straws and napkins and such, so a lot of girls like this one came up, I said "Hey how's it going" and that was pretty much it for that one too.
5)Another girl by the napkins, except I followed up with "What brings you here?" her response was "Books", I'm not quite sure what my response was but it was on the lines of "Aren't we all".
6)My only true "successful" one, I approached with "Hey how's it going?" Followed by "What are you reading?" Her reply was good, and she smiled, said that it was a body language book. I followed up with something like "that's cool, so your trying to understand all this" She said ya, and I just was running out of things to say, so I asked her for name, got it, and told her mine, and shook hands. At that point I was out of things to say, so I mentioned that her necklace was pretty, she thanked me, and then I continued on my way.
7)Hired Gun - I just asked her what time that place closed, for some reason she had no clue, so she went to ask someone else that worked there and returned to me, I thanked her and she left.
So overall I didn't get much done, except a lot of reading, but I think I made some progress, and started feeling better especially after the 6th one.

NYC Approaches to Meeting
Ok, so on my way to NYC yesterday I finally got enough balls to try out my "I know you" routine. It didn't go very well to say the least...
As soon as the train came to my stop I got on, the first car and looked around. I saw this girl facing forward and I sat down perpendicular to her about 2 seats away. Now one of the first things I did wrong was I waited a bit before I opened her. I was listening to music on my PSP, so I changed songs, and made the volume lower so I could talk and hear her. When I opened I look back and see that I'm sure I didn't come off with enough confidence, and didn't speak loud enough over the train car moving so I had to repeat my self. So here is pretty much how it went that I can remember:
Oh and I even started it off wrong
Me: Something on the lines of "I think I know you" instead of more confident and going with it "I know YOU!"
Her: She said something, not sure what...
Me: "Your Sarah right?"
Her: "No, I think your thinking of someone else"
Me: "Ya Sarah from Brooklyn"
Her: already in a kind of frustrated mood, I guess because I had to repeat my self also. But she said something like "No it's not me"
Me: "Oh well I guess your right, so then who are you?
Her: "I'm Erika (I think)"
Me: I could barely hear her too so I asked her to repeat then moved on to "Oh well Erika, what did you do with Sarah?"
Her: Seemed uninterested and upset at this point said something like "Nothing" I'm not even sure exactly what she said.
Me: "Oh well how are we supposed to find her then?"
Her: "Well I guess if she wanted to talk to you she would have given you her number"
Me: At this point I knew it completely bombed and it had to end before I even finished. So what I was supposed to say if I continued would be "Oh well this is getting us no where, we need to retrace our steps, What were you doing last Thursday night?" But I didn't say that, and knew it was time to go, so all I said was ""Oh well this is getting us no where".
I just plugged my PSP back into my ear, and kinda sat there looking straight for a while until the next stop came, where I got out and moved into the 2nd car. I was so nervous I had that feeling like, dropping 500ft from a roller coaster, or like when you just barely escape a car accident. It's not a good feeling, and it was with me for a while. The weird thing about this cute is she wasn't even that pretty, like maybe a 6, and I had a hard time, and she was acting like the shit.
In fact it put a damper on the rest of the approaches I should have done. I saw this one girl on the Ferry sitting there (after walking up, down, back & forth finding not a single girl for like ever). But I sat on another bench somewhat far, and after about a minute or two I made up the excuse that I couldn't approach her, although I'm sure she didn't even notice me as she was reading a book. But I was also partially scared to use that routine again. She was about a 6.5
There was another girl walking in the same direction as me in the streets, all I could see was a nice ass, and long hair, but I saw a guy look at her, then after passing check out her ass, so I knew then she was pretty.
So I tried to walk through the people to get close enough to approach her. First problem I had was that I had to find a way to either walk next to her or in front because I was told your not supposed to approach from behind, So I was unsure how to go about doing this. Second problem was my damn AA, I managed to stop right next to her, at the cross walk, and I turned and finally saw that pretty face of hers, and said NOTHING, I don't even remember if I smiled, I hope I did. I continued to walk ahead of her about another block to my destination. She was like a 7 (cute)
I did manage to talk to one girl sitting right outside our meeting room, but it wasn't until after a long time. The speaker came and the video guy, and I was talking with them, they went away for a minute or two so I made my move. The reason I didn't open sooner was because at first I was nervous, and then I scared myself out of it, and when I was ready she was calling lots of people on her phone. So when I did finally get to talk to her, I said "I noticed you have a tattoo on your foot, I bet that hurt a lot" She agreed, and mentioned that she drew it (a vine, that she showed me went a few inches up) and only cost $100. I tried to make small talk, and not even sure exactly what we talked about. I was happy enough that I fucking said anything, She was pretty as well. This was I would say a prettier 7 (more than cute, but not quite really pretty, I guess a 7.2)
On the way home right after I got out of my meeting I was hyped as these things always do. So I started looking for a girl, and found one walking ahead of me and I thought to my self I wasn't going mess up like that other one. I came up right to her left side, turned to see if she was cute and was about to speak when I realized that it was a friend of mine. It was Funny and Weird at the same time, so I just talked with her till I get to the subway car.
When I got the subway, I approached this girl that was standing on the wall waiting for the train and I didn't realize at first she had ear phones on. But I said "Do you know when the train comes", she was very friendly and very pretty (a 7.5 at least) and told me something like "They come very often so we shouldn't have to wait long, and she started to put her ear plugs back in, when I asked her another question. She had a nose ring (small hoop) So I asked if it hurt a lot, She was smiling and explaining that it didn't hurt that much, and exactly what they did, I remember mentioning something like "They should have given her some pain killers or something", moments later our train came, and for some reason she stood the entire time, even though there were a few seats and as stops when by plenty more opened up. But I was sitting what would be the equivalent of 2 seats away if she were sitting. I wanted to say something I didn't want to lose her, but as soon as that train came I kind of lost my nerve I guess.

Vybe List Meeting in NYC
I'm headed to NYC for another meeting, kinda newbie orientation thing so I should learn something from it, and yes it will get me out of the house to talk to people. But if you are in the Staten Island area you would already know that the weather here today is shit. It's been raining all damn day, and although I have an "interview" tomorrow at 6:30am and prolly won't get back until midnight, I'm still making sure no "excuses" keep me from going out. Which is something that I'm having to work on consistently. So I'll put an update on who I was able to open up too when I get back or tomorrow.
But I'm hoping to run my "I know you" routine on at least a few girls, I plan on opening any single set I see despite there attractiveness. Possibly even talk to guys and such because this is something that I was supposed to be working on and haven't.
I feel confident in myself right now that I'll be able to maybe even get a # close, because ya know what? I'm a fun guy, I know this and I'm going to show girls this. Now if I could get a better wardrobe for bad weather, I'm wearing a sweater that just isn't cool at all, so I'm going to try and just leave it in my car, to carry it around with me every time I get inside anywhere to show off the nice shirt. But at the same time I decided to go with an average shirt instead of my nicer ones in case I wind up getting it wet or whatever or have to wear the sweater most of the time.

The meeting I felt went very well, lots of useful information. Peter mostly spoke from the Vybe List, later on Paul, and Noah also put there much appreciated 2 cents in. They went over there model of starting from Pre-Approach all the way through to closing. They didn't get to go in detail with every part, they actually pretty much stopped right before comfort. This was mainly because of the questions and demonstrations that they were doing, which was really great. They had 2 girls to help out showing examples as well. So all in all it was really great, I think the best meeting I've gone to so far.
But I'm hoping to run my "I know you" routine on at least a few girls, I plan on opening any single set I see despite there attractiveness. Possibly even talk to guys and such because this is something that I was supposed to be working on and haven't.

Hired Gun - Cashier
It would seem that I get the most interaction with people that I'm kind of forced to interact with, none the less it's still practice.
This girl was about a 4.5 just below average, Helped me find a PDA case with a flip top so that my PDA stops falling on the ground, my current one is open on top. We talked back and forth about the item mainly, but I found myself joking around too. I don't remember much since I didn't write this on the day it happened. But I remember her saying sorry that the computer was slow and taking a long time to finish the purchase, I replied with "you should kick it then, that always seems to work" she busted out laughing. I made another comment about it must be nice to work near the TV's and hear the music, her reply was "yeah it's great I get to hear the same song every 15 minutes" . I thought this was particularly funny because I've worked in a place where the music starts to repeat it self and at first you just want to rip your hair out of your head. But eventually you drown it out, which was also part of her response.

Subway Car Approach
I was on my way home (Today 5-4-08) from my first NYC Lair meeting, where I saw Brian Bayor from AMP talk for about an hour with some demonstrations. It was pretty cool and shed a light as to what problems I may have with my "Inner Game", as I did not volunteer like an idiot cause I was embarrassed to go up, especially since it involved the beautiful Kacy Baker(I don't know how it's spelled). I did not get to see exactly what was my problems, but I know that there is a world much like the matrix blinding all of us.
Anyway, I was the subway car and I saw this cute black girl, kinda young, prolly about a 6.5 so I sat across from her. I smiled and said hi, she did the same, at least I think she smiled. After about 3 seconds I said to her "you look exhausted, did you have a long day", she said "yeah, it's been crazy" or something like that. So then I asked her "so, where are you headed?", she responded with "I'm headed to my boyfriends". Now I'm not entirely sure where I went wrong, I thought I am came off confident and such. But knew it was over when she said that, so all I could say was "that's cool". I actually followed up after it with a question asking her something on the lines of whether she knew if the last stop was the SI ferry. We talked about that for like a minute, then she got off on like the next stop.
Anyway, I was the subway car and I saw this cute black girl, kinda young, prolly about a 6.5 so I sat across from her. I smiled and said hi, she did the same, at least I think she smiled. After about 3 seconds I said to her "you look exhausted, did you have a long day", she said "yeah, it's been crazy" or something like that. So then I asked her "so, where are you headed?", she responded with "I'm headed to my boyfriends". Now I'm not entirely sure where I went wrong, I thought I am came off confident and such. But knew it was over when she said that, so all I could say was "that's cool".
